Kin ark Child And Family Services
Kinark child and family services is a children' s mental health organization that provides help to children, youth, and families.
Kinark has a crisis/intensive services that include:
-Autism services
-Family First
-Youth and Justice services
-Residential Treatment
-Crisis Services
Crisis services - These programs are supported by findings from the ministry of children and youth services and provided in collaboration with other agencies in local communities.
Autism services-Kinark is committed to caring, helping, and healing. The program offers services to children who have a diagnosis of autism and their families. The program uses applied behavioral analysis (ABA) which is a scientific approach that describes a method to change behavior and measure the resulting change.
Youth and Justice Services-The service provides intensive treatment and support to youth in conflict with the law, who have serious mental health issues.
Families First Services- Delivers intensive short term services to families within their own homes.
Children/Youth Treatment Services-Children/ youth are placed in home like settings within the communities. Child/Youth workers supported by other experienced professionals and clinicians, provide daily care and facilitate individual plan of care.
